The business and economic landscape is undergoing rapid change. This has led to an emerging scenario in which industries must continuously implement best practice management principles, strategies and technologies. The 17th APETT Technical Conference (ATC-AMME 2004) offers an opportunity to study and assess new directions in asset management, maintenance engineering, engineering management and related disciplines that help enhance organisational performance and sharpen competitive edge. The Conference offers a platform for sharing experiences, presenting new results, and reviewing recent developments with keynote addresses by some leading experts in the areas of asset management, maintenance engineering and engineering management.

Target Audience of the Conference Executives, managers, engineers, asset management professionals from all industries and people who are interested in asset management, maintenance engineering and services.

Submission of Abstracts and Paper Manuscripts

We welcome abstracts of originality, relevance to the theme, soundness and clarity. The abstracts should not exceed 300 words in English and be sent to e-mail kfpun@eng.uwi.tt or fax (868) 662 4414 (Attn: Dr K F Pun). Submissions should have a cover page containing the title of the paper along with the names, affiliations, and complete mailing addresses of all authors including fax and phone number. Correspondence will be directed to the first named author unless indicated otherwise. Abstracts will be reviewed for technical merit and content. A maximum of eight pages is allocated in the Proceedings for each accepted paper.

Dates to Remember Deadline for Abstracts Submission: Monday 26th January 2004.
Notification of Abstracts Acceptance: 5th February 2004.
Submission of Full Papers: 16th February 2004.

Registration Normal registration fees for delegates are US$150 and APETT and IEEE members are US$100. Registration fees will be waived for presenting authors but no travel funding will be provided. If a co-author would also register for the Conference, a 50% discount on the registration fees could be applied.
